We currently accept BCBS PPO Plans.
For all other insurance companies, we are considered an out-of-network provider. If your plan allows, we can provide a superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so we always recommend calling your insurance company directly to understand your out-of-network benefits.
We accept major credit cards and private pay. Payment is due at the time of service. For families using a superbill, you may be reimbursed by your insurance company depending on your plan.
Frequency is individualized based on the child's needs. After your child’s evaluation, we will recommend a therapy schedule (typically 1–2 sessions per week) based on goals, progress, and family availability.
Sessions are generally 30–45 minutes, depending on the age of the child, their attention span, and the goals being targeted. Parent coaching sessions may run slightly longer.
At intake, we collect a language history to understand your child’s exposure and dominance in each language. Therapy can be conducted in English, Spanish, or both, depending on your child’s needs and your family’s goals. Research shows bilingual children do not get confused by therapy in multiple languages—in fact, supporting both languages strengthens overall communication.
We provide therapy services for children from birth through adolescence.
The evaluation includes a combination of parent interview, standardized testing (if appropriate), observation, and play- or conversation-based tasks. A written report will outline your child’s strengths, needs, and recommended goals, which we’ll review together before starting therapy.
Yes! We believe parents and caregivers are the most important partners in a child’s communication journey. Parent coaching is integrated into sessions and can also be scheduled separately to provide tools, strategies, and bilingual language support for home.
We are a bilingual, bicultural, and neurodiverse-affirming practice. Our therapy honors your child’s language, culture, and identity, while focusing on strengths. Whether we’re supporting speech sound development, stuttering, language skills, or bilingual language growth, our goal is for children to thrive at home, in school, and in the community.
Therapy sessions are offered in a cozy, child-friendly office space located in the southwest side of Chicago. Families often appreciate the warm, comfortable environment that feels less intimidating than a clinic setting. This allows children to feel at ease while learning and practicing new skills.
