Let's Make Pie - Bilingual Communication Board

Interactive activities are always a great way to elicit participation and communication! Check out this super fun pie activity! Make some REAL or PRETEND pie with your students all while using a picture communication board. The communication board comes in Spanish and English. Mats in both English/Spanish for pumpkin pie and apple pie are included.

You can use this activity by:

Option 1 - Pair the mat with Play-Dough and pretend to make the pie. You can lay out the Play-Dough on the mat as you model and/or your student uses the picture communication board provided.

Option 2 - Make REAL pie! You will need to purchase the following ingredients.

• Pie crust (I really like the Keebler Ready Crust Graham Pie Crust! It is premade and it is the perfect size for tiny little hands, approximately 3.5 inches diameter).
• Apple or pumpkin pie filling (premade in a can)
• A Spoon
• Whipped Cream
• Napkins
